2. Types of Data We Process
Depending on the channel and service, Menurka may process the following categories of data:

• Booking and stay/service data: booked accommodation or boat, stay dates, number of people, additional services, communications and incidents related to the booking.
• Billing and payment data: data necessary for issuing invoices and managing payments, advances/deposits, refunds, and bank reconciliations (complete card details, if applicable, are managed through secure external gateways).
• Data required by specific regulations: when necessary, identifying data of travelers or other data required by applicable regulations (e.g. administrative or tourist regulations), including data of minors if they are travelers and the regulation requires it.
3. Purposes of Processing
Menurka will process your personal data for the following purposes:
1. Management of inquiries and requests: respond to information, availability, and budget requests received through the website, email, phone, or messaging apps.
2. Booking management and contractual relationship: process bookings, modifications, cancellations, and all necessary operations to provide the booked accommodation/boat service or other contracted services.
3. Service provision and customer service: manage check-in, during the stay, incidents, claims, and operational communications related to the contracted services.
4. Economic and administrative management: issue and send invoices, manage payments, advances/deposits, refunds, reconciliations, accounting, and filing.
5. Compliance with legal obligations: Fulfill tax, accounting, and other legal obligations that apply, including, when necessary, those derived from tourist regulations and requirements of competent authorities.
6. Operational informative communications: send you communications related to the booking or the service (confirmations, reminders, arrival instructions, relevant information about the stay, incident notices, etc.).
7. Commercial communications (future): If in the future Menurka sends commercial communications or newsletters, it will only be done when there is a legal basis (mainly consent) and always with the possibility to unsubscribe at any time.
4. Legal Basis of Processing
The legal bases legitimizing the processing of your personal data are:
• Performance of a contract or application of pre-contractual measures: to manage requests, bookings, and the provision of contracted services.
• Compliance with legal obligations: to meet tax, accounting, and other obligations arising from applicable regulations.
• Legitimate interests of Menurka: for internal administrative management, operational security, fraud prevention, and service improvement, always considering your rights and freedoms and offering opposition mechanisms when necessary.
• Consent: in those processing activities not based on the aforementioned bases (for example, future commercial communications), explicit consent will be requested and can be revoked at any time.
5. Data Retention Periods
Personal data will be retained:
• While the contractual relationship is in place and/or is necessary for the stated purposes.
• Subsequently, for the periods required by tax, accounting, administrative regulations, and prescription periods of possible liabilities.
• Data processed to comply with specific obligations (e.g. those arising from tourism or security regulations, if applicable) will be kept for the strictly necessary periods in accordance with such regulations and applicable prescription periods.

• Booking management platforms and ERP/PMS operated by Roomdoo/Odoo.
• Email services, connectivity, and hosting provided by third parties like InfoTelecom Networks.
• Email and cloud storage tools such as Google Workspace.
• IT support and maintenance providers, like Món Informàtic or other companies that may access Menurka systems or equipment for support tasks, also acting as data processors under corresponding contracts.
• Tax and advisory services firms, like Boschpons, for proper fiscal and accounting management, when necessary.
• Financial institutions and payment gateways (e.g. BBVA, CaixaBank, Sabadell, Stripe, Mollie) for managing payments, refunds, and bank reconciliations.
• Tourism intermediary platforms (OTAs) like Booking.com, Airbnb, or other similar platforms, when bookings, payments, or part of the management is done through them.
• Public administrations, courts, and competent authorities when there is a legal obligation or requirement that demands it.
Under no circumstances will Menurka transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to the services offered by Menurka.
7. International Data Transfers
Certain technological or service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In these cases, Menurka will adopt the appropriate safeguards required by regulations (e.g. adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other mechanisms provided by the GDPR) to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

You can exercise at any time the following rights, in the cases and to the extent established by regulations:

• Right of rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
